She creates compelling pieces that invite the viewer on a mystical journey beyond the horizon. Her interest in the cycles of nature and the cosmos began during her childhood on the Danish island of Bornholm. "I grew up very close to nature. I swam, jumped from rocks, and ran through the forest. It's still a place where I draw a lot of inspiration," she says. Anne is now mainly based in Copenhagen, but she misses that intimacy with nature. The hustle and bustle of everyday life are punctuated by travels, exhibitions, and moments of sharing wine with friends and family.
